COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Our Community Needs You!!! Members of this committee work within our community to identify organizations that help others less fortunate and that need our help. This is such an important and necessary activity but we need YOU!! Please, if you are willing to work with your Marsh Creek neighbors to help provide resources to those in need in our greater community, please email Spoonbillneighbors@yahoo.com.
POKER ANYONE?
It has been suggested that our neighborhood needs a Poker or other card game group. Interested in this? We need someone to step up to help form this group and lead us forward into Card Night!! This could be you. Email Spoonbillneighbors@yahoo.com
INVESTMENT CLUB
Are you someone who wants to learn about investing and meet new, savvy people while doing it? Then the Spoonbill Investment Club is for you. We are opening up for new members for our next investing cycle and would like to invite you to join us. The club is educational with women members researching and recommending stock picks in various industries. The club then votes on investing based on the presentations. ● Book Club – The book club will be on hiatus for June, July and August. The selection the group will be discussing in September is Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt. Please contact Louise Nelson lzn@mindspring.com if you are interested in joining this group. It meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 2-4 pm.
● GoGos 2.0 – This month the GoGos will be re-visiting one of their most requested events, BINGO at the Elks Club. The date will be Thursday, June 26. We welcome anyone would like to join The Pink Ladies for Bingo! Contact diannehood@comcast.net if you are interested in joining girls out goofing off.
● Happy Hour – The Happy Hour group will be getting together on Friday, June 13 from 5 to 7:00 p.m. Anyone interested in attending or signing up for this fun group, please contact Donna Delzingaro Donna.Delzingaro@gmail.com
● Investment Club – The investment club is now accepting new memberships for the investment cycle beginning in January 2026. If you are interested in learning about investing with a fun group of people, please contact Penny Jones dpjones02@gmail.com.

● Spoonbill Walkers – The Spoonbill Walk will be Saturday, June 21 at 8 a.m. The group will leave Marsh Creek at 8am, arriving 9am in Jacksonville to walk a portion of the Riverside walk before visiting the Riverside Artisan Market (RAM). ● Welcome Committee- This group continues to make our new neighbors feel at home and assist them in learning about Marsh Creek and St Augustine with a friendly visit. The GoGos are going again! This time they went to visit Castle Otttis (yes, there are 3 t’s in Otttis) on A1A. Between exploring and eating, this group of ladies have it going on!
And, Welcome Patty Damon!!
Patty will be joining Lorraine Novinger as a Co-Coordinator of the Spoonbill Neighbors. She will be replacing Jana Synatschk who is stepping aside after two years as a coordinator for this group. Thank you Jana for your dedicated service and welcome to Patty!! We are looking forward to more great leadership of this group.
