A Hurricane Warning has been issued from Sebastian Inlet, Florida
northward to the Flagler/Volusia County Line, Florida.

A Hurricane Watch has been issued from the Flagler/Volusia County
Line to the South Santee River.

This means Hurricane Ian, once it downgrades to a tropical story over central Florida, has the potential to quickly regenerate into a hurricane as it moved into the warm open water of the Atlantic south of Palm Coast, and steers northward alongside St. Augustine.
