It seems the battle to save what little remains of natural Florida from developers is never-ending. Last year, a massive public outcry succeeded in derailing Governor Ron DeSantis’ state parks give-away to donor/developers aiming to tear up Anastasia and other State Parks to plunk down a hotel and golf or pickle ball courts on these remnants of pristine Old Florida.

It appears that a conveniently abutting and contiguous piece of land (circled in red) is owned by the parent company of the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club, a development sure to be discussed Tuesday.
