One of the joys of the holiday season here in North Florida is the coinciding winter harvest. And good news. The County Line produce stand has re-opened open for business!
It just takes a pleasant 30 minute drive to reach farm country in Hastings for fresh just-out-of-the-field produce at this agricultural landmark.
This week, tractors were pulling up non-stop, stocking bins with just ripened cabbage, brussel sprouts, egg plant, squash, carrots, tomatoes, potatoes (of course!). All of it just out of the ground.
The selection is endless. Just try and suppress the temptation to buy more than you can eat.
Oh, and good luck.
