Thursday was truly spectacular on Haw Creek, with blue skies, no wind, ideal temps, high water and no weed clogging thanks to the Corps of Engineers spraying.
The bird life cooperated as a barred owl observed us at the half-way rest area while a red shoulder hawk, ibis and a kingfisher flew along the way. The photos tell the story.
Next Wednesday we’re planning an Old Coast Ale/Osprey Taco MCK gathering to give thanks early for our good fortune while the overnight to High Springs is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 5th to Thursday, the 7th – let me know if you plan to attend.
