Paula Skinner is Marsh Creek’s representative on the St. Johns County Civic Roundtable. She asked the Spoonbill Courier to publicize this interesting civic initiative that offers St. Johns County residents the chance to learn about their local candidates running in November. Many are likely unknown to many of us, but they will be on the ballot. More details below along with a link taking you to the candidates’ responses.
Next month’s speaker, on October 12, is Vicki Oates, SJC Supervisor of Elections and the public is invited to RSVP for a zoom conference. The Spoonbill Courier will publish that invitation when it is released and shared by Paula.

We asked them to fill out a brief questionnaire to help educate our members and interested parties about their candidacy. Questions Asked: What are your qualifications for this elected position? If elected, what are your goals for this office and what would you like to achieve in this position? What is your vision for the County? What is your educational background?
