SJC Anticipates No Covid-19 Vaccines This Week

At 12 noon today, St. Johns County issued the notice that it does not expect to receive a new batch of Covid-19 vaccines this week.

“St. Johns County is not scheduled to receive a new COVID-19 vaccine allotment from the State of Florida during the week of January 11. SJC will notify the public immediately upon the receipt of additional vaccinations. For more information, please call the SJC COVID-19 Vaccination Hotline at 904.295.3711 or visit www.sjcfl.us/coronavirusvaccinations.”

St. Johns County injected its last remaining 400 Covid-19 vaccines into arms on Friday. Less than 16 minutes was all it took the previous day for county residents to claim the scarce remaining supply through online appointments on the Eventbright reservation system. New reservations will not be taken until the county receives a new vaccine shipment.

  1. There should be a way to sign up without having to race in the morning without success. My family in N.J. Was able to sign up on the computer and each get category as to when they will be called. St. John’s we are frustrated!
