The Audubon Certification project group recently installed eight blue bird houses on the golf course while Chad Hansen and his team had earlier erected a purple martin house next to the second green – see photos.

Chad just gave the group a special – a photo of a blue bird checking out one of our new bird boxes near the practice area between holes # 14 and 13 – no residents yet but we’re hopeful.

We’ll be monitoring each of the boxes and reporting on occupancy rates, etc. as the year progresses.
Two bat houses are also in the offing – locations are being determined and photos will be provided once
installation is complete. Information on the milkweed planting should be coming soon.
