The first of America’s patriotic long weekends this year is upon us. That means BBQ, steaks, cheeseburgers, beans, pulled pork and hot dogs if you’re traditional. If you’re a little more health-conscious, grilled fish and avocado toast are fine too.

And do not forget beer and wine!

Above all, though, this weekend is a time to display the Stars and Stripes. Of course, this being America, patriotism can also take the form of flags, t-shirts, napkins, cake icing, anything really.
