What better time to reinvigorate this group than BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH.

The Knitted Knockers is group started about 1 year ago after my 26 yr old daughter-in-law was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer.  Check out my original post https://spoonbillcourier.com/?s=knocker for the full story.

Marsh Creek Knitted Knockers Group is a collaboration of women that are passionate about supporting the breast cancer community through craft, camaraderie, and community outreach.  The primary activity of our group is to knit or crochet breast prosthetics for women who have had mastectomies.  We welcome new members, including anyone who wants to learn how to knit or crochet, as well as anyone who wants to participate in the group through community outreach and other volunteer opportunities.

AGENDA:

1.           Welcome new members

2.           Read Thank You Note from Kendall Lindenman

3.           Review past community outreach activities

4.           Explore new community outreach opportunities.

Please RSVP to jlindenman@comcast.net or call/text 847-533-4788.
