By Louise Nelson
We sometimes worry it’s too much or too often, but each time Marsh Creek proves us wrong.
Louise Nelson, Melody Ness and Patty Damon organized and coordinated the Spoonbill Neighbors Easter Food Drive to benefit the families at the St. Johns County Homeless campus on Chapin Street.
Melody reported the final tally:
“Marsh Creek residents delivered 64 bags of groceries to The Emergency Services and Homeless Coalition including 23 bags to St. John’s Food Pantry.”
The bags had happily clogged the entry ways at both the Nelson and Ness residences until their delivery Thursday, in time for Easter.
Thank you for your generosity, Marsh Creek!!
And thanks to the soggy delivery team of Allen and Melody Ness, Rich Bittlingmayer, Ron Anzvino and Brian Nelson.
Kudos to all who make this gift possible.
