Once again, the stars aligned for kayaking, as twelve of us enjoyed spectacular weather and a high tide to see our town from a different perspective – the river.
There weren’t any unusual sightings – disappointingly no dolphin – but having five of us make the downtown paddle for the first time was special enough. Stan took some great photos, including some black and white, which I’ll forward separately. Lunch at Beaches was enjoyed on the deck starting with a mountainous nachos appetizer which somehow disappeared by the time the entrees arrived.
You’ll notice someone different in a few of the photos – Shaun paddled up while we were on Yuengling Island and asked to join us including for lunch.
I’ll send out info on next week’s planned overnight in the next day or so – unfortunately the weather doesn’t look good.
