Happy Friday!
With kids back in school, it’s been a great week for mornings at the beach.
In this first frame of two photos I’ve selected from my Thursday morning beach shoot, we have three pelicans and plenty of cloud-age for the early minutes of the sunrise.

Now, looking below at the next shot maybe a few moments later, it’s fascinating to see how quickly those clouds disappeared.
The birds? Sure. They’re not much for hanging around, are they?
But the clouds? You’d think they take a little longer. Not on this morning. They burned right off.
Happily, their departure made for another made-for-camera moment.

Here are a few more from earlier in the week taken with my phone.

Have a great weekend!
