Spoonbill Neighbors and Marsh Creek Community Outreach Alert,
One of the cottages on the Homeless Coalition campus here in St. Augustine is being refurnished. Each resident family in transitional housing is permitted, and in fact expected, to take their donated furnishings with them to their new home. Now, a new family is in need of pots, pans, twin sheets and pillows. These can be used or new items. Of course any other dispensable household items you might have would be greatly appreciated.
Items can be dropped off at the Homeless Coalition of St. Johns County campus at 62 Chapin Street, Saint Augustine (directions), or with Melody Ness (401 Misty Morning Lane). Try and deliver your donations by August 8th.
Of course, household donations are always appreciated whenever received. Right now, there is also a need for Back-to-School backpacks and school supplies.
