Monday, Oct. 7, is Florida’s deadline to register to vote or change your voter registration info before the Nov. 5 election. Register here.

As of Friday, more than 76,000 voters had already cast mail ballots in Florida, according to the state Division of Elections! (About 33,000 of them were Democrats, about 28,000 Republicans, and 16,000 were unaffiliated and third-party voters.) 

This election will determine, among other questions: 

• Who becomes the next president
• Whether rights to abortion, recreational marijuana and hunting and fishing are enshrined in the Florida Constitution
• Who represents YOU in D.C., in Tallahassee and, in many cases, on your city or county commission or school board
