Two years was enough!
After Covid-19 put a halt to its public appearances in 2019, the Marsh Creek Chorale “got the band back together” Monday afternoon and held a small concert in the Community Park.
Given the cool, blustery conditions, an impressive number of brave souls turned out in support. And they came prepared, sporting parkas, blankets, and warm sweaters as the incoming winter chill helped set a festive holiday spirit in this normally warm weather community.
On hand, thanks to the organizers, were freely available cups of hot chocolate, cookies, and Santa hats. A big hit.
The 16-member Marsh Creek Chorale led 50 or so attendees in singing 16 Christmas carols and songs.
All age groups were represented. Marsh Creek retirees were almost numerically matched by families with young children.
And of course, Marsh Creek being Marsh Creek, there were dogs.
Sue Whittle produced the event, and despite the chill and wind, not a soul left before the end 45 minutes later.

One of the best written stories yet! There was a perfect balance of young and wise attending. Cal is an amazing member of the Marsh Creek community and brings her energy, faith, and generosity to our singers. Sue is an example of incredible service to our community and just sees what needs to be done and accomplishes it.
Thank you Marsh Creek Women’s Association and neighbor for providing refreshments!
Join the Marsh Creek Choral! It’s a special group of neighbors who love to sing and their happy, inclusive spirit is contagious!
