Join us for an evening reception on Monday, July 19th from 6-8 PM for a chance to meet the artists, County Commissioners, and hear live music from The House Cats. On Tuesday, July 20th, a morning reception will be held at 8:30 AM before the County Commission Meeting. Stop by the Rotunda to enjoy refreshments and see the new photography exhibit. From River to Ocean: 200th Anniversary Photography Exhibit 200th Anniversary Symposium | JULY 17 The St. Johns County Public Library System, in partnership with the St. Johns Cultural Council and Flagler College, hosts the St. Johns County 200th Anniversary Symposium: Then, Now, and the Future on Saturday, July 17, from 2 – 4 PM at Lewis Auditorium at Flagler College. Learn more about the fascinating history of St. Johns County and its many cultures, and discover ways we will share the stories of our history and culture in the future. Enjoy a musical performance, reenactors, refreshments, and speakers including Dr. Thomas Graham, Professor Emeritus of History in the Humanities Department; Christina Parrish Stone, Executive Director of the St. Johns Cultural Council; Gayle Philips, Executive Director of the Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center; and Ann Browning Masters, author and educator. Symposium: Then, Now, and the Future Time Capsule Ceremony On Wednesday, July 21 at 10 AM, the St. Johns County Board of Commissioners is hosting a 200th Anniversary Time Capsule dedication.
