Editor’s Note: Tango and Archie have been familiar sights around Fiddlers Point Drive and the MC park and were featured in the late and lamented Dear Daphne column established by our former neighbor, Ricki Rubenstein.

This is a Good News / Sad News note, beginning with Tango’s recovery from serious surgery, as reported by Tango’s “Mom”, Jan Vita

Tango

Tango is doing well.  His surgery was one week ago today.  He wears all his accessories (“help me up” vest, cone, donut, and/or leg sleeve) … without any complaints.  

He is feeling much more exuberant than his doctor recommends at this point.  He thinks he can walk miles.  As of last night we added a medication called Trazadone to his cocktail of meds.  

First photo (above) is in the car coming home from surgery and the rest show his progression during his first day home.

Now the Sad News, from Helen and Scott Borisoff …

Hi guys, I’m sorry to be bringing you such sad news so early in the day, we wanted to let you know Archie passed away Wednesday. He hadn’t been feeling himself, so we took him to the vet on Monday. Two tumors, surrounded by love. At least he didn’t suffer…
