Long Waits Reported at St. Johns County COVID-19 Testing Site

The St. Johns County COVID-19 testing site is experiencing long wait times due to increased demand. Please be prepared to wait in line for at least one hour.

“At 11 AM, the wait was about 90 minutes. No appointments were being honored”, reported Marsh Creek resident, Gerry Kurth, late Monday afternoon.

Due to capacity and traffic congestion, those who arrive after 3 p.m. Monday, January 3, will not be tested.

All tests will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis. To lessen your wait time, pre-registration is strongly encouraged, and can be completed here: https://t.co/T4NOf4CW3E.

PCR and rapid (antigen) COVID-19 tests are available for those 12 months of age and older, but recipients may only choose one. Rapid test results will be available the same day, and PCR test results are typically available within 48 hours. Tests are free. Insurance is not required.

The site is located at the Wind Mitigation Building, 3111 Agricultural Center Drive, and standard business hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Sunday.

For more information, please contact the Nomi Health call center at 904-295-0562.
