Then and Now – 50 Years of Veteran Experiences Coming to St. Augustine

St. Augustine Exhibition to Tell the Story of the Horrors of War

July 2 through August 22, the St. Augustine Art Association (STAAA) has been given the honor of presenting, through the Healing Power of ART, the stories of Veterans who found their way back from the degradation of war, and the assaults on their minds and bodies.

The month and a half-long exhibition is titled “Then & Now: 50 Years of Veteran Experiences“. Details on the exhibition, the fundraising and the artists themselves can be found HERE.

As a non-profit 501c(3) organization, we are currently raising funds to off-set the cost of producing this important exhibition: shipping of artwork, signage, advertising, gallery guides, and a Meet & Greet reception. We have raised $11,180 toward our goal of $17,000 so far.

To learn more about the exhibit or to donate go to www.staaa.org, contact Diane Bradley (President) at dbradleyart@comcast.net or call the STAAA office 904-824-2310.

Current business sponsors include: Nissan of St. Augustine, Cowan Financial Services, St. Johns Law Group, Herbie Wiles Insurance, Len Weeks Construction, Panache Salon, Boles Law Firm, Wounded Warrior Project

“We hope to have lots of visitors to the exhibit to honor our veterans and in support of all of our military & their families”.
