We enjoyed a delightful start to the 2024-25 kayak season on one of our favorite creeks. Cloud cover and a light breeze made for excellent conditions. We had lots of company as two other groups headed out about the same time – one all women and another from the Jacksonville area – never seen so many vehicles at Russell Landing. No wildlife sightings but the trees were glorious with their Summer green.

 Our overnight to High Springs is postponed as rain is forecast all of next week. We’ll have either “lunch with Clyde” or an “Old Coast lunch” next Wednesday.
