When you travel, you see all kinds of first-ever things. Like a Pink Moon, that isn’t really PINK! What you see above was captured over Moraira, Spain, six hours before it would rise over America’s Oldest City. For what it’s worth, here is one “official” take on the phenomenon:
The Pink Moon, or April’s Full Moon, is set to illuminate the sky, coinciding with the peak of the Lyrid meteor shower. Despite its name, the moon won’t appear pink. This celestial event, also known by various other names, holds cultural and religious significance around the world. The Pink Moon’s positioning in Scorpio amplifies energies of renewal and self-discovery, making it an ideal time for personal growth and shedding old habits.
