Six of us enjoyed bright skies and reasonable temps Thursday during the 3.5 mile paddle on Julington Creek from Palmetto Leaves County Park to Clark’s Fish Camp.
What we didn’t enjoy were the 10-12 mph headwinds during the last 1/2 mile on open water. However the lunch at Julington Creek Fish Camp more than made up for it.
As with our last two outings, the bare trees, especially old growth cypress, provide plenty of highlights. Thanks to Ellis for the photos.
