The National Weather Service (NWS) warns of very high tides and potential flooding throughout the weekend.

“Tidal levels along the Atlantic Coast will reach 1.5 to 2.5 feet above MHHW (above dry ground) today, then reach 2.5 to 3.5 feet above MHHW (above dry ground) Tonight through Monday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.”
