The evening was unusually nasty by Florida standards. A maritime event, with gusts of wind blown rain whipping the canvas sides of the St. Augustine Yacht Club patio. Above, there was the security of the St. Augustine Lighthouse beam, and inside, a staffed bar, tables of good food, and Spoonbill Neighbors friends. When it got chilly on the patio, someone turned on the heaters and people stormed the dance floor to make the most of the 60’s and 70’s tunes they grew up with.
The videos and pictures pretty much speak for themselves, and for the bonds forged among 200 or so Marsh Creek homeowners who signed on as members more than two years ago.
Founded by Meri-Kathryn Peed and Louise Nelson, Spoonbill Neighbors continues to hum under the dedicated leadership team of Lorri Maloney and Jana Synatschk, assisted by their many talented interest group lieutenants, including Lisa Stern who helped lead this Holiday event.
Here is a tiny sampling of some photos collected from Spoonbill Neighbors related events in the past year ….
