Contemporary Chronicles of St. Augustine at Lightner Museum
Contemporary Chronicles of St. Augustine explores the urban fabric of St. Augustine through large-format photographs, hand drawn maps, and interactive photographic flip books. The project seeks to define St. Augustine through the residential streets and neighborhoods that have long been inhabited by the people that help support the city as a premier tourist destination. Through interactive sequential images, visitors to the exhibition will uncover the overlooked aspects of everyday life in America’s oldest city. 75 for 75: Diamond Anniversary Exhibition
The Lightner has been an important part of the St. Augustine community since it was first built as the Hotel Alcazar in 1888. The building opened as a museum in January 1948. In celebration of our 75th diamond anniversary in 2023, 75 for 75 presents a compelling selection of artwork and objects from the museum’s permanent collection and celebrates the incredible legacy that Otto Lightner left to the people of St. Augustine. Ride On! Historic Bicycles At Lightner Museum
In the 1890s the bicycle took over the hearts and minds of Americans. Swept up in the craze for cycling, our historic building, the Hotel Alcazar, offered its own bicycle academy, allowing its guests to tour Gilded Age St. Augustine on two wheels. Drawn from the collection of St. Augustine bicycle aficionado Keith Pariani, this exhibition will feature bicycles chosen by Pariani as examples of pivotal moments in late 19th and early 20th century bicycle design. Sasha Wortzel: Dreams of Unknown Islands: St. Augustine
Dreams of Unknown Islands: Saint Augustine is a multisensory exhibition of work by New York-based visual artist and filmmaker Sasha Wortzel. The exhibit will be on display at the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum at Flagler College through April 22. Admission is free. This exhibition is generously supported through grants from The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida and The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. Annual St. Johns All-County Middle School Art Show
The Annual St. Johns All-County Middle School Art Show is on display both in-gallery and online through May 1. Matanzas Inlet Hike
Join GTM Research Reserve partnered with the National Parks Service on this guided interpretive walk around the Matanzas Inlet. Your guide will explain the inlet dynamics and movement of the sand as the sea constantly rearranges the shore. Hikers will explore the incredibly rich and diverse communities of plants and animals throughout the ecosystem and witness how hurricanes have affected the inlet. Walk on the Wild Side
Join a fun and educational hike through Anastasia State Park with one of the Park’s knowledgeable volunteers! This walk starts on the beautiful shoreline, continues up through the sand dunes, and travels along the boardwalk over the salt marsh. Participants will discover an assortment of flora and fauna that populate the several ecosystems of Anastasia, and they will increase their knowledge of some history of the park and the surrounding area. Suggested items to bring are binoculars, comfortable walking shoes, a camera, a reusable water bottle, bug spray, and sunscreen. Meet in the beach parking lot in front of the Island Beach Shop & Grill. This event is weather permitting and subject to cancellation. This program is free with regular park admission fee. Second Annual St. Augustine PoetFest
Poets and poetry lovers will gather for the 2nd annual St. Augustine PoetFest, a National Poetry Month celebration of creative writing and reciting. Earth Day Adventures at Trailmark

Guided Bird Walk at Anastasia State Park
Each month, Anastasia State Park hosts an educational Bird Walk Program from 8:15-10 a.m. Open to participants of all birding levels, participants will observe a variety of shore birds, marsh birds, and hammock birds by walking the beach, boardwalks, nature trails and other areas. Dress for the weather and bring binoculars, water, comfortable walking shoes and a field guide. Unscripted Comedy in the Limelight
The Adventure Project presents a show that features improv comedy that’s smart and from the heart.
