St. Johns County COVID-19 Vaccination Registration Opens 9 a.m. on January 14
One day after announcing it did not anticipate receiving additional Covid-19 vaccines this week, St. Johns County announced this afternoon arrival of a new shipment of 500 new doses that will be given out on Friday for those who succeed in registering for an appointment on Thursday morning. The county is also gearing up to administer the required second vaccine shot for those few who have received their first.
St. Johns County received an allotment of 500 vaccines from the State of Florida this week. Registration will open on Thursday, January 14, at 9 a.m. for all 500 vaccination appointments on Friday, January 15. The link to schedule an appointment is https://tinyurl.com/y52tcoaz. The form will not be active until registration opens.
If you or a family member are unable to make an appointment on the website, please call the St. Johns County COVID-19 Vaccination Hotline at 904.295.3711 (dial all ten digits) after 9 a.m. Thursday morning. You will not be able to register an appointment through the hotline prior to 9 a.m. The limited number of COVID-19 vaccines St. Johns County receives from the State of Florida determines appointment availability. More appointments will be opened when St. Johns County receives additional vaccines.
Department of Health COVID-19 Vaccination Recipients – Second Dose Appointment
St. Johns County is in the process of contacting those who received their initial COVID-19 vaccination from the Department of Health in St. Johns County to schedule a second-dose appointment. If you received your first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine from the Department of Health in St. Johns County and provided contact information, you should receive a phone call to schedule an appointment in the coming weeks prior to your second dose due date. All second doses will be administered by appointment only on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays at the Solomon Calhoun Community Center, 1300 Duval Street.
