Extended Marsh Creek’s Spoonbill Neighbors Easter Feast Food Drive until March 27th!
By Louise Nelson
Due to popular demand, we have exhausted our supply of official donation bags for the Easter Feast Food Drive benefiting the St. Johns County Homeless Coalition. However, we encourage those still wishing to donate foodstuffs to use any available bag and join the effort.
Here is a list of the items that have been requested.
Boxed Mac & Cheese; Canned Corn; Canned Green Beans; Canned Pineapple; Jello & Canned Fruit; Instant Potatoes, any variety; Cake Mix & Frosting; Easter Candy; Muffin, Roll or Biscuit Mix; Peanut Butter, Jelly & Juice; Canned Meat or Fish.
Or cash donations can be made directly to the St. Johns County Homeless Coalition at homelesscoalitionstjohns.com.
Please return full bags to either Louise Nelson’s home on 209 Fiddlers Point Drive or Patty Damon‘s home on 408 Players Ct, by March 27th.
All food donations will be delivered to the Homeless Coalition on the following day, the 28th. Extra food will benefit the St. Johns Food Pantry.
Thank you for helping the less fortunate in our community celebrate an Easter meal.
